So it is 6 days into 2017.
All of us Weight Watchers have meandered into our respective WW meetings up and down the land sheepishly trying to avoid eye contact with the leader. There is nothing more to it.....we have to face the music after the pig out of Christmas. I must say I was dreading the scales when I got back to my meeting this week. I even toyed with the idea of asking my lovely leader to cover the display so I wouldn't see what it was. As it turned out, I was very surprised to learn that I had only gained 1.5lb over the two week period since before the big day. That my lovely friends, shows the power of facing the music. It is better to face it head on and to know exactly what you are dealing with. This really motivated me to face 2017 with renewed positivity with healthy eating, and to give myself new aims for the year ahead. This year we have two big aims, my friend's 40th and a trip to Australia at the end of the year. It gives me around 8-9 months to really do the plan to the letter and to be proud of my achievements. My aim for this year is to give myself 5% targets, so the first aim is to get to get myself from 13.8 to 12.12 in the space of about two months. I will not look further than that, otherwise I will get too overwhelmed and give up. Good luck with your weight loss journeys this year people, and share them here on Welsh Weight Watcher. Remember to share on social media using the hashtag #welshweightwatcher. Here's to a healthy (and lighter!) 2017 :)
