For those of us who see our final goal weight an unsurmountable task, then why not think of your weight loss one pound at a time. Maybe set an initial 5%, then set another target of 5% below that. This may help you to break the task down into bitesize pieces. Here is my initial 5% from my initial current weight of 14st 2. My initial aim is to get down to 13st 4lbs, which will be my 5% target.
